I'm back!

It's been awhile but I am back to blogging. I am no longer at Fidelity and am living in Rhode Island closer to family and friends. I am loving life right now. I couldn't be happier. Elizabeth is so happy seeing her cousin's and grandparent's more often then ever. Peter goes out with his friends and his quite the social the bug. I have my own craft room now and can work out some of my grits lol. Today I post a slideshow of Elizabeth and her cousins. Enjoy!!

Disney Vacation 2009

">

Our trip to Disney was quite an experience. It was so awesome watching Elizabeth's face as she entered all the theme parks, especially the magic kingdom. She smiled and laughed the whole time. She kept pointing and kept exclaiming everything; "balloons!," "mickey!," "water!" Her first ride was the Cinderella's Golden Carousel. She now has her "first mickey ears." I hope you all enjoy the photos.

Where Am I?

So, on my way to work this morning I totally forgot where I was for 30 seconds or more. Now mind you, it was 5:00 and quite dark. It must be because I have lived in so many states or something. I thought I was in New Hampshire for a moment until I looked over and saw a "Silver Alert" flashing sign. I never even knew what a "silver alert" was until I moved to North Carolina. Apparently there are too many lost elderly people and North Carolina folk can't seem to keep a hold of them. There must be at least one silver alert every other day. Anyway, I finally made it to work with no further memory issues.

Missing my Family; Missing my Tribe

My family must be talking about me today. It would explain my random thoughts and spurts of tears throughout the day. My family means the world to me and being so far apart dampens my spirit. Memories of walks to the "Dogwood Festival," jaunts to DQ, walks on the beach and hamburgers at Rawley drifted through my mind. I send great big hugs and kisses their way.
